What Is Our Early Childhood Goal?

Our long-term goal is for universal access to quality, free, and joyful early childhood educational experiences for babies ages 0-5. Our big goal is to win approximately $100 million in sustainable public funding to address the early childhood education crisis in our region in the near future. And, it starts with YOU!

What Does It Mean To Be An Early Childhood Power Building Hub?

GROW THE ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY OF CHILDCARE CHAMPIONS, August 8th-October 8th: Activate educators and families to support the Early Childhood Playbook and to become civically engaged!

VOTER EDUCATION, October 9th-November 5th: Educate voters and support them showing up to vote on election day!

What Are The Benefits Of Becoming A Power Building Hub?

BENEFITS

  • Access to a $3,000 micro-grant for up to TEN hubs.
  • Access to special trainings on how to become an Early Childhood Community Leader.
  • Special swag.
  • Join a community of other childcare providers.
  • Access to opportunities to meet and build relationships with some of St. Louis's power players.
  • Recognition in the media.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Have a physical location in Saint Louis City or County.
  • A childcare program caring for 15+ children.
  • Available to attend two in-person training sessions on Tuesday, August 13th, 5:30pm-9:00pm and Wednesday, October, 9th, 5:30pm-9:00pm.
  • Must be able to attend virtual weekly calls to receive and share updates.
  • The point of contact is registered to vote in Missouri and at least 18 years of age.
